Toronto: Education exchange

Toronto: Community ties

The Confederation of Toronto Chinese Canadian Organizations held its annual installation ceremony on March 9. The confederation, founded in 1985, links Chinese-immigrant communities in Canada's biggest city and helps Chinese-Canadians assimilate. Its 70 member organizations represent 700,000 Torontonians. Los Angeles: Executive honoree

Anne Shen Smith, CEO of Southern California Gas Co, holds the Deborah award she received from the Anti-Defamation League at a ceremony on March 6. Smith, who immigrated to the United States from Taiwan in 1964, is active in civic affairs, including serving on the public advisory committee of the Grand Canyon Visibility Transport Commission and the Los Angeles City Environmental Affairs Commission. Seattle: Learning platform

Washington: Introductions coming
