Parents of a primary school's students in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, have to spend 1 yuan ($0.16) every day to ensure each child could be allowed to take a nap in classrooms during noontime break, Southern Metropolis Daily reported recently. After parents complained for the "noon nap fee" charged by Jinwan No 1 Primary School, officials of the development and reform bureau in the city's Jinwan district replied that the fee is legal and reasonable.
