13.74 million enterprises

By the end of March, there were more than 13.74 million enterprises in China, an increase of 0.61 percent over the end of last year, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce said on Thursday. The number of foreign-invested enterprises stood at 439,800, down 0.18 percent, according to the administration.
