A restaurant in Chongqing has promised to offer compensation of 600,000 yuan ($97,160) if any customer dies from H7N9 bird flu after eating there. It also promised to pay medical costs for customers who become infected with the H7N9 virus. Business at many chicken-themed restaurants in the city has dropped by 70 to 80 percent, and many restaurant owners have had to change their menus, according to the Chongqing Morning Post.
