"A bra, a rather small thing, may cost the buyer several hundred yuan. Compared with the square meter price of a house, the bra is much more expensive."
Ren Zhiqiang, an outspoken Chinese real estate developer, said in a forum on Sunday after two female entrepreneurs, one of them the president of a clothing company, complained to him about the high price of houses in China. Ren also argued that a real estate project takes several years to develop, but a manufacturer of clothing needs but a short time to develop a product.
