Movie star Jackie Chan became the first person to leave two sets of hand prints in cement at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. On June 7, Chan stepped into the cement with his socked feet instead of his shoes, and kissed the cement, leaving an impression of his lips and nose. Chan left his mark the first time 1997, but his original cement slab was lost when the theater changed owners and was refurbished. Representatives of the newly named TCL Chinese Theatre, previously the Grauman's Chinese Theatre, said they were sure the slab hadn't been stolen. |
