Tian Xiaoping, one of the five men who were convicted of robbing and murdering taxi drivers in 1995 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, tells Legal Daily on Tuesday how he suffered after he was sentenced to life imprisonment in July 1997. Police caught Xiang Shengyuan in 2011, who confessed he was the true culprit. Zhejiang High People's Court retried the case on Tuesday. A new verdict has yet to be announced.
