Say cheesecake
Endearingly nicknamed "the little red hats on the snow land", this cake from Gourmet at Pudong Shangri-la in eastern Shanghai has long been enjoyed as a popular treat for birthdays, New Year holidays and Valentine's Day celebrations, or simply comfort food for the winter. There are so many "red hats", 300 grams of fresh and juicy bites, that it often takes a much closer look (or a large bite) to discover the creamy cheesecake underneath. 218 yuan (reservation required).
