"My name is Shahiddin Mamat. I am am Uygur, and I am 42. I am the chief creative officer of Libeiya Design and Decoration Company in Beijing. I majored in oil painting in Xinjiang Arts University and studied stage art design in Shanghai in the 1990s. But my career development in architectural design was just so-so in Xinjiang. I came to Beijing to design a stage play in 2008 and stayed. I feel like that I have found my own stage here. I have designed quite a few mosques around the country. This year I am in charge of a project to restore some buildings in Kashgar to their 13th-century appearance. To do this project well is my new goal and dream."
