Dancers in Hangzhou set new Guinness Record

Thousands danced together in drizzling rain in Hangzhou city, East China's Zhejiang province, Saturday morning, to set up a new Guinness World Record for largest line dance.

The participants, 25,703 in total, were spread across 18 locations in the city, and came from all walks of life from both China and abroad.

The previous record was set by 17,200 dancing together in Chungxiong, Southwest China's Yunnan province, in 2009, according to the website of Guinness World Record.
