The camera should be SLR, or digital with bulb mode or 30-second exposure. A tripod is necessary. Mosquito repellent and a flash-light are critical. Getting as close as possible
to the runway or higher than the runway is also important. Choose several shooting spots so that you can get photos from diferent angles. And be familiar with the route from one spot to the other.
The camera is set at blub mode, with ISO 100-200, aperture F8, and do not forget to adjust to MF for pre-focus.
