Little warmer

Being a popular family item for winter warmth, tangpozi can be made of bronze, tin or porcelain. It is in the shape of a pumpkin.

Tangpozi is made with materials that have a high efficiency of heat transfer and must be placed into a cloth-bag before being slid into a quilt.

Compared with tangpozi made from other material, the bronze ones have a longer warming time of about 3 hours.

The boiled water poured into tangpozi is not suitable for drinking.
