New Oriental, a private educational service provider, recently held an educational forum in Beijing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its overseas study tour program.
Study tour experts exchanged their views about the importance of overseas study in shaping the values of youngsters and education experts shared their opinions about family education.
Liu Ting, vice-president of the company, says young students can not only broaden their horizons through such experiences, but also be inspired to think about their life ideals and work hard for them.
She says studying abroad can cultivate student's love and curiosity for the wider world and hone their interpersonal skills and help them become more independent.
The past decade witnessed more than 100,000 students of different ages joining the company’s programs to study and travel to about 40 countries, such as the United States, Britain and Canada. The tutors help to ensure the safety of the students.
