Wise consumption
"Our bodies are very adept at producing Fatty Acids which are necessary for many body functions; however there are two Fatty Acids that must be consumed via our diets, LA (linoleic acid) and ALA (alpha linolenic acid). Without a source of these Fatty Acids our immune system, central nervous system, and general mood would all suffer."
"When we fast, our bodies no longer receive the sugars or carbohydrates to get energy from and therefore look for other sources of energy. One source we all have in our bodies is fat, and when we fast, our bodies enter a state called ketosis where we run primarily on fat. By regular fasting and entering into this state, we allow the liver and pancreas to take a break from continually working to break sugar down and as a result they reset and become more efficient."
