The visit by the President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye will help the stability of Northeast Asia, said an article in the 21st Century Business Herald (excerpts below).
China and the ROK want stability on the Korean Peninsula and both countries remain vigilant to the actions of Japanese right-wing politicians. China is the first Asian country visited by the Republic of Korea president since she took office.
Trade between the countries has grown hugely and there is even more scope for greater cooperation.
For example, talks covering a free trade area agreement and currently underway and cultural exchanges are increasing.
The ROK has successfully overcome the “middle-income” trap and become a developed economy. China can draw lessons from this transformation and development.
