LONDON - Retired English footballer David Beckham and his eldest son Brooklyn were reported involved in a car crash on Saturday, local reports said.
The Independent said the accident occurred after the father picking 15-year-old Brooklyn up from a football match outside Arsenal's training ground in Hertfordshire on Saturday afternoon.
The former captain and his son didn't hurt in the accident, while two passengers in the other vehicle were uninjured.
Reports said the air bags in Beckham's car were deployed successfully, but their Audi car was rendered unusable and damaged on the driver's side, local police were called to the scene Saturday afternoon.
Brooklyn and his brothers, 12-year-old Romeo and nine-year-old Cruz have been playing for Arsenal's younger teams.
