Hangzhou to host swimming championships

Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province, is to host the 2018 FINA Short-Course Swimming World Championships.
The announcement was made in Doha by FINA officials on Tuesday. The 12th FINA World Swimming Championships(25m) will be held in Doha from Dec 3 to 7.
Zhao Rongfu, director at Hangzhou Sports Bureau, said that the successful bid of the championships will help the city to get prepared to host other international sports events.
