Belarus' Domracheva named Europe's Athlete of 2014

MINSK - Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva has been named as Europe's best sportswoman by the European division of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), the National Olympic Committee of Belarus announced on Tuesday.
The three-time champion of the Winter Olympics in Sochi is the first Belarusian female athlete to win the vote that has taken place for 32 times already since 1983.
American tennis star Serena Williams was voted Best Female Athlete of the Year 2014 by AIPS while Domracheva came in second.
