TAIZHOU -- After beating Chinese Taipei 3-0, defending champions China replicated their success with unbeaten record at the 4th World Women's Team Go Chess Championship here on Sunday.

Yu Zhiying lost to South Korean Choi Jeong on Saturday, while she made a comeback and beat Chinese Taipei Table 1 player Joanne Missingham, who was sidelined due to acute gastroenteritis a day earlier. Song Ronghui and Rui Naiwei also defeated their respective opponent.

Chinese team coach Wang Lei expressed his satisfaction with players' performances, while showing pity towards Yu's second straight loss to Choi after April.

"Hopefully she (Yu) can adjust herself quickly and meet Choi again," said Wang.

In another match, South Korea got the runner-up position after uppering Japan 3-0. Japan and Chinese Taipei finished third and fourth respectively.

China and South Korea shared the past four years' titles, with the latter seeing success at the inaugural and second edition of this tournament.
