Horse-racing of Shoton Festival in Tibet

The annual Shoton Festival is about to kick off in a week. In recent years, the festival has been shifting its focus to cultural performances while integrating leisure tourism, sport competition and trade and investment soliciting. It has become a festival that combines tradition and modernity and that is famous home and abroad.
Anyone who has been to Tibet to spend the Shoton Festival must have been impressed by the delicious and nutrient Yak yogurt, Budda unfolding ceremony at the Drepung Monastery, tasty food as well as those dashing horse-racing heroes.
