The Spanish-based Crucemendo River Cruise Company recently unveiled the itinerary of its Ms Hemingway cruise ship that sails along the Rhine River.
Tourists can choose from itineraries running from eight to 12 days. The 12-day tour includes Amsterdam in the Netherlands, German cities such as Cologne and Mainz and Basel and Paris and Brussels. Tourists can enjoy picturesque views along the river including old castles and churches, eat delicious food and take part in activities such as wine parties. After docking in the ports, visitors can tour around the scenic spots, mingle with the locals and go shopping.
The 2014 Development Report of China's Cruises revealed that cruises have become a popular choice for Chinese outbound travelers. In 2015, the number of Chinese mainland visitors taking a cruise voyage is estimated to reach 1 million.
