What I had: Kenya Maranga Dorman – Washed, Cold Brew – 45 RMB
I visted Metal Hands on a really, really hot day, and so the cup of cold brew coffee I had was remarkably refreshing. It also tasted great.
Metal Hands is located in Wudaoying Hutong, and so it is appropriately narrow (almost inconveniently so). There really isn’t a whole lot of room to sit, here, so either you can get cozy with some strangers at one of the few tables pushed against benches, or take your coffee to go. This shop, too, sports the concrete and wood interior design palette.
Despite the cramped interior, Metal Hands makes a mean cup of Joe. My cold brew was immediately sweet, but took on a more bitter and robust flavor as I drank it. At 45 RMB, this was a pretty reasonably priced coffee.
