Heavy, dark and extreme, The Metaphor seem at first glance like your typical metal band, but within them lies deep mysteries and contradictions. Their sound and style may shock you, but their lyrics and ideas will leave a lasting impression upon your heart and your soul.
The lead singer is a Catholic, although he maintains that his music has nothing to do with religion or other such topics. For The Metaphor, their music is merely an expression of their idea of beauty, but perhaps there is an underlying message of something even more profound. When one speaks in metaphors, it is difficult to know the true meaning.
The Metaphor is:
Wu "Dave" Shuo – Vocals/Guitar
Li Xuan – Lead Guitar
Wang Chong - Bass
Xiao Kong – Drums
The song featured in this episode is called “Crisis Apparition.”
The Metaphor has a live show tomorrow, May 31st, 2012, at MAO Livehouse (8.30p).
