Chinese ambassador condemns terrorist attack on Kenyan university

NAIROBI - Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Liu Xianfa has condemned Thursday's terrorist attack on Garissa University College in northern Kenya, which has claimed 147 lives.
"China strongly condemns and resolutely opposes terrorism in all forms," Liu said.
He added that the Chinese government is "deeply shocked and saddened by the terrorist attack at Garissa University College that has caused huge casualties of innocent civilians."
The ambassador expressed his deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathy to their bereaved families and the injured.
He stressed that China will continue to staunchly support the Kenyan government and people's efforts to fight terrorism and safeguard national stability and public security.
