Nestlé wins 'Nutrition Promoting Contribution Award', nutrition communication and healthy products recognized

Nestlé received "Nutrition Promoting Contribution Award"from the Chinese Nutrition Society at the "70th Anniversary for Establishment of Chinese Nutrition Society and 12thNational Nutrition Science Conference".
"Nutrition Promoting Contribution Award" aims to reward individuals and groups that have made contribution to the development of nutrition discipline. Nestléwon the award, on the one hand, because it had made efforts toconvey nutrition and health information to consumers, and on the other hand, because it haddeveloped and carried out research and development on the nutritional health productsfor different stages of life.

It coincided with the 70th anniversaryfor establishment of the Chinese Nutrition Society.As a member unit of the Society, Nestlégave full support to the event and promoted nutritional and healthy concept. Meanwhile, giventhat currently people pay high attention on maternal and infant nutrition and health, Nestlé also specially hosted the "Start Healthy, Stay Healthy,Recent Progress of Maternal and Infant Nutrition Research" forum during the conference tohelp the latest research findingsin related fields and the disciplineto develop in an all-round way.
During the conference, Nestlé set up two special boothswith the theme of "Nestlé Nutrition, a Lifetime Companion"to show how Nestléhelps people in pregnancy, infants, adolescents, adults, the middle and old aged and special groups to live healthier and happier lives at each stage of their life.
For example, for middle-agedand senior people, Nestlé and the Organizing Committee of the National Community Care Campaign recently launched the 1st National "Jianxin HealthDance"Tournamentin 2015 in Beijing which aimed to enhance the active prevention and control awareness of the middle-agedand senior peoplefor chronic diseases and pass on a healthy lifestyle with Jianxinbalanced diet and regular exercise. This event would benefit four million middle and old aged friends.
Nestlé has always been actively involved in nutrition education work organized by China Ministry of Health, the All-China Women's Federation, the Chinese Nutrition Society, the Chinese Centre for Disease Controland other government organizations and scientific research institutes, as well as promotion ofspread of healthy lifestyles and nutrition dietary guidance.
