US Navy officers and crew have a tug-of-war with members of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) on Nov 6 in Jacksonville, Florida. The PLAN Escort Taskforce 152, which consists of the missile destroyer Ji'nan, missile frigate Yiyang and supply ship Qiandaohu, left the US Naval Station Mayport for Cuba on Nov 7 after completing the first port call visit to the US East Coast. During the five-day visit, officers and crew of the PLAN fleet held joint exercises and played basketball and soccer with the crew of the USS Iwo Jima. China News Service |
