-- Its actual departure time was 11:09 pm (2109 GMT) on Wednesday.
-- The flight was an Airbus 320 manufactured in 2003.
-- The plane was carrying 56 passengers, three security personnel and seven crew members.
-- The captain had 6,275 hours of flying experience, including 2,101 hours on Airbus A320. The co-pilot had logged 2,766 flying hours.
-- Among the 56 passengers were 15 French, 30 Egyptians, two Iraqis, one British, one Belgian, one Portuguese, one Algerian, one Chadian, one Saudi, one Kuwaiti, one Sudanese and one Canadian.
