The New Jersey Table Tennis Club (NJTTC) won the 2016 America's Team Championship in South Barrington, Illinois, on May 29.
NJTTC defeated the team from Minnesota, 5-0, in the finals. Forty-eight teams from across the United States competed in the tournament.
The NJTTC team, based in Westfield, includes Bochao Li, Ray Huang, Zongqi Zhong, Yutian Wang and Ziyang Chen.
The youngest member on the team at 15, Huang is an up-and-coming player whose hard work and training have paid off in recent matches. In April, Huang and Leslie Liu won the mixed doubles in the annual New Jersey championships, and Huang and Li were finalists in men's doubles.
Li, who won the 2015 Arnold Table Tennis Challenge, is one of the coaches for NJTTC.
