Adventure in Cango Caves
Despite being named Cango Caves, the caves have nothing to do with Congo. Cango caves are about 29 km away from Oudtshoorn. The adventure is not suitable for everyone. It is said only the brave could have a glimpse of the caves.
When the caves were discovered about 200 years ago, it took more than nine hours to explore the caves. Well, now, it only takes about two hours with experienced guide and well-equipped lights.
Upon entering the entrance chamber one is immediately conscious of the increased humidity and pleasantly warm temperature. You would not miss any of the natural wonders thanks to the experienced guide and the adequate lights.
