Luo Huining appointed as Shanxi Party chief

BEIJING -- Luo Huining has been appointed secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), replacing Wang Rulin, according to an official statement citing decisions made by the CPC Central Committee on Thursday.
Luo has also replaced Wang as a member of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and its Standing Committee.
