Nationwide activities to mark Seniors' Day

The ninth day of the ninth lunar month marks the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival, which falls on Oct 28 this year.

As Double Ninth Festival is also the Seniors' Day in China, many events will be held across the country to pay respect to the elderly people.
