Chinese designers go international

Establishing a global brand can be a big hurdle, Hong Xiao reports from New York

The weeklong New York Fashion Week ended on Wednesday, and the most Chinese designers ever in the show - 16 - presented their 2018 spring/summer collections.

With China's economy booming during the last few years, more Chinese designers are showing their clothes overseas and seeking to change "Made in China" to "Designed in China".

Four of the designers in the New York show shared their thoughts on the biggest challenges they face as they seek to make their designs branch out internationally.
