The Communist Party of China is ready to work with the Communist Party of Vietnam to further promote experience exchanges on governance and boost pragmatic cooperation in various fields, senior CPC leader Liu Yunshan said on Monday in Beijing.

Liu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when meeting with a visiting CPV delegation led by Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Secretary of the CPV Central Committee.

The two countries are good socialist neighbors and they are a community of shared destiny with strategic significance, Liu said.

The CPC is ready to jointly further implement consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and stick firmly to the right direction of the development of the relationship between the two countries and between the two parties, Liu said.

Both parties hope to promote the long-term, healthy and stable development of the two-way comprehensive strategic partnership, Liu said.

Chinh said Vietnam speaks highly of China's contribution to boosting peace and development in the region and in the world.

The CPV is willing to deepen party-to-party relationship with the CPC and jointly lead the further development of Vietnam-China ties, Chinh said.
