Peak is a name that may be unfamiliar to many Americans, but it is one of China's most-recognized sportswear brands, along with domestic rivals Li-Ning and Anta. Founded in eastern Fujian province in 1989, Peak had grown into the third-biggest player-endorsed company in the National Basketball Association. The basketball-focused brand began a gradual process of establishing its US presence by opening two stores in Los Angeles.
