Driving school gives discount to those who recite Chinese literature
A driving school announced a promotion that any student who can recite classic Chinese literature will receive a discount for their driving lessons, reported Chutian Metropolis Daily on Monday.
According to the policy, every 1,000 words recitation will result in a 200 yuan ($33) reduction in driving lesson fees, so the more you recite, the less you need to pay. The entire 3,800 yuan fee will be waived if someone can recite 30,000 words of Chinese literature.
Many students tried to get the discounts and one person even won free lessons. The boss of the driving school is a fan of Chinese literature, so he came up with this idea to spread the beauty of the ancient words.
