9-year-old girl saves grandma from fire
A girl from Northeast China's Heilongjiang province bravely saved her grandma from a fire and suffered severe burns, reported West China Metropolis Daily.
9-year-old Gao Zihan's home caught fire on the night of April 21. After she ran out of the room she realized her grandma was still in there. The girl headed back to the room to save her grandma, and during the rescue she was severely injured. The burns covered 25 percent of her body.
The expensive medical bill for the girl and her grandmother left the family in distress. But luckily, the girl's bravery moved many people and she received enough donations to cover the bill.
In our next story, a man is discovered living in a "nest" in a tree.
