Microsoft aims high in mobile market

Microsoft has built partnerships with more than 10 mobile phone companies, including Nokia, HTC and ZTE, said Microsoft senior vice-president Zhang Yaqin on Saturday at the 2012 China IT Leaders' Summit.
The launch of the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system last week signaled Microsoft's latest attempt to compete against Google and Apple in the Chinese mobile market. Zhang expressed confidence about Windows' prospect in China.
