Chongqing to boost agricultural tourism

The 2012 Huanggua Mountain Flower Viewing Festival kicked off in Yongchuan district, Chongqing municipality on March 28.
During the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015), Chongqing plans to attract a total investment of 15 billion yuan to build 15 agricultural tourism parks in Huanggua Mountain, according to Cheng Fuping, deputy director of the Huanggua Mountain administrative commission.
At present, investment in the mountain area has reached 3 billion yuan towards building a 60,000-mu pear garden with overall output surpassing 60,000 tons.
