Gold price opens lower in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - The gold price in Hong Kong went down HK$60 to open at HK$ 15,120 per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,635.78 a troy ounce, down $6.49 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.759.
