China's auto sales pick up

BEIJING - China's auto sales rose 1.7 percent year-on-year to 8.02 million units during the first five months of 2012, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said Saturday.
China produced 8 million vehicles from January to May, up 3.19 percent from one year earlier.
