Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong -- June 15

HONG KONG - The gold price in Hong Kong went up HK$20 to open at HK$15,070 per tael on Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,630.37 a troy ounce, up $2.16 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.759.
