BEIJING - China's centrally administered state-owned enterprises from the Bohai Economic Rim on Friday signed agreements with enterprises of northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region to deepen economic cooperation between the two regions.
The 19 agreements signed on Friday involved a total investment of 10.13 billion yuan ($1.61 billion), with projects ranging from new energy, high-tech, trade and logistics, to the food industry.
The Ningxia government said the Bohai Economic Rim, the economic hinterland surrounding Beijing and Tianjin, had offered substantial support to the economic and social construction in Ningxia.
From 2006-2010, the Bohai Economic Rim invested 158.34 billion yuan in Ningxia, according to the Ningxia government.
