China's fixed-asset investment up 20.4% Jan-July

BEIJING -- China's urban fixed asset investment rose 20.4 percent year-on-year to 18.43 trillion yuan ($2.93 trillion) in the first seven months of 2012, the National Bureau of Statistics announced Thursday.
The growth rate stayed flat with that in the first half of the year, the NBS data showed.
Investment in property development climbed 15.4 percent year-on-year during the period, the NBS said.
