The Regional Knowledge Sharing Initiative, a new knowledge exchange center, was founded by China's Ministry of Finance and the Asian Development Bank on Aug 30.
The RKSI was built as a new platform of the South-South Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange center to promote knowledge communication in the Asia-Pacific region.
The RKSI will focus on promoting political dialogue, knowledge sharing and operation training in the Asia-Pacific region. It aims to improve the capacity of developing countries through establishing knowledge sharing centers and personal information databases to attract more resources for RKSI, constructing an information network for publicity, and arranging financial and intellective support for knowledge sharing cooperation.
