MGM China profit up 8.9% in Q3

MGM China Holdings Ltd, a venture between a daughter of casino mogul Stanley Ho and MGM Resorts International, reported an 8.9 percent increase in third-quarter earnings on spending by middle-class Chinese gamblers.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or Ebitda, increased to HK$1.19 billion ($154 million) from HK$1.1 billion a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong stock exchange filing yesterday. Net revenue rose 6.1 percent from a year earlier to HK$5.15 billion.
