About 530 billion yuan ($85.1 billion) will be invested in China's railway construction projects in 2013, slightly more than the 516 billion yuan planned for this year.
The investment plan was made in accordance with current building capacity, and the financing needed for the construction has been guaranteed, the 21st Century Business Herald reported, citing unnamed sources from the railway system.
