Ten domestic companies received awards on Sunday for service innovation as China promotes the services sector amid restructuring efforts of its economic growth model.
Haier Group, Alibaba Group and Sany Heavy Industries Co Ltd were on the list of award recipients, according to a release on the third survey of satisfaction in the services sector organized by Economy, a domestic magazine affiliated with Economic Daily.
"Satisfaction is a key factor for the healthy development of the services sector," said Bao Yujun, a researcher with the Counselors' Office of the State Council.
"The key point of the Chinese services sector is to enhance the competitiveness and explore the international market, while serving domestic consumers satisfactorily," said Huang Hai, first vice-chairman of the China Association of Trade in Services.
