BEIJING - Chinese shares closed mixed Monday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.1 percent, or 2.23 points, to end at 2,234.39.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.54 percent, or 47.99 points, to 8,937.75.
