Chinese stocks open mixed Tuesday

BEIJING, April 23 -- Chinese stocks opened mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,242.62 points, up 0.02 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 9,055.23 points, down 0.03 percent.
