The three-day event, co-sponsored by CCPIT Electronics & Information Industry Sub-council and the Reed Exhibition, covers an area of 30,000 square meters with 500 businesses from 22 countries and regions in attendance.
"We aim to provide a platform for visitors and exhibitors to exchange technology, discuss trade and promote cooperation," said Cao Jianhua, vice-president of the sub-council.
Visitors can discover exhibits at the cutting edge of technology, he said.
"Electronic manufacturers are trying to lower their production costs by improving efficiency, which will lead to a huge wave of automation over the next few years," said Huang Zhaojun, assistant vice-president of Reed Exhibition China.
Huang said the show has become a platform for exhibitors to unveil their newest solutions.
A series of technical conferences will be held at the show, including an international high-level conference.
